Celebrating 20 Years of Yalari
Tea & Yarns

20th Birthday Tea and Yarns Virtual Celebration
You are invited to join a special celebration to commemorate Yalari’s 20 year journey…so far.
We are celebrating in true Yalari style, with a ‘Tea & Yarns’ event – a cuppa over morning tea and a chance to share our gratitude to the supporters who have been instrumental in educating, empowering and shaping Australia’s Indigenous leaders.
Whether you’re organising a fundraiser at your workplace or gathering at home, we invite you to join Founding Directors Waverley Stanley AM, Llew Mullins and alumni online as they reflect on the moments that have shaped Yalari.

Details
Regardless of whether you’re an existing Yalari supporter, or new to the community, our 20th Birthday Tea and Yarns Celebration is open to all! Either join us alongside your colleagues to fundraise in your workplace, or tune in from home to celebrate 20 years of Yalari.

Yarning Circles
Yarning Circles have long been a part of Indigenous culture, providing a space to share stories, exchange knowledge, and strengthen relationships. They create an environment where everyone—Indigenous and non-Indigenous alike—can come together as equals, listen with respect, and be heard. Through open and meaningful conversations, Yarning Circles foster connection, understanding, and a true sense of community.
